Principal's Report

Did I just hear, ‘it's the end of term’? Where did that go? Time moves incredibly fast in schools and sometimes we need to remind ourselves to stop, breathe and go gently. That’s exactly what I hope happens over the next few weeks for our students and staff. 

For our students, these holidays are an important opportunity to take a break, catch up on reading and other work, and refresh themselves ready for the return to Term 3. Our Year 12 students are heading into the home straight and our Year 9 students are already preparing for their move to Brigidine Campus. 

Thank you to those families who attended our parent/teacher/learner interviews on Wednesday evening – these conversations are important opportunities to connect with classroom teachers and to set goals for Semester 3.

Our students represented the College with flair and courage at the recent debating competition and they are to be congratulated on their contributions. As always our young people continue to excel in our various sporting programs, and there's been plenty to celebrate across all team sporting codes. Our Arts Academy students are gearing up for their feature film, so it's exciting times ahead for our actors, directors and all other roles involved in the film making.

As we head into the term break, I wish all families a safe time and I look forward to seeing everyone back onsite for the beginning of Term 3.
