TONI PALMER MEMORIAL SHIELD - RUGBY LEAGUE
On Wednesday 25 June we had two teams travel to Inverell to compete in the Toni Palmer Memorial Shield Day.
What an exciting day for our Year 3/4 boys. The team of 12 talented boys played six tough games and won them all, bringing home the Junior Division shield.
The Year 5/6 team placed 4th overall with some very stiff competition.
Both teams showed amazing teamwork, great sportsmanship and never gave up. They worked together, cheered hard and represented St Nicholas with pride. Thank you to Mr Maher and Mr Anderson for coaching the teams and to all the parents and grandparents who made the journey to Inverell.
