Community Information Sessions (Tonkin Highway Extension and Thomas Road Upgrade)

The Tonkin Highway Extension and Thomas Road Upgrade project team are hosting community information sessions over the next month. These sessions are an opportunity to:

  • Meet members of the design, construction, traffic, environment and community engagement teams

  • View the latest concept designs

  • Ask questions and find out more about upcoming works in the area

The first drop in session is on Tuesday, 24 June – between 3pm and 7pm at Briggs Park Pavilion, 38 Mead Street, Byford

 

If you are unable to attend on this date, there will also be an information stand on Saturday, 5 July – between 9am and 11am at the SJ Farmers Markets, 2 Paterson Street, Mundijong.

Film Screening

Eton Farm Primary School are hosting a special screening of ‘Seen the Film’. SEEN is a groundbreaking feature-length documentary that not only explores the transformative power of personal healing for parents but also delves into the scientifically supported effects of such healing on parenting and its impact on child brain development.

 

When: Wednesday, 25th June 2025

Time: 6:45pm for 7:00 pm start.

Where: 57 Abernethy Road Byford, WA 6122 (Byford Secondary College)

Save for School Camps with the Saver Plus Program

What is Saver Plus?  Eligibility applies

 

Saver Plus is a program for people on lower incomes. It’s about bolstering their financial skills, so they can develop (and keep) good savings habits.  

Since 2003, Saver Plus has supported more than 62,000 people to start saving.

It’s helped overcome the barriers around education expenses. And it’s helped set them up for a brighter future.
