June Career Events 

NOTICE:

This June, there are several career events designed to help you explore your future options and discover what’s possible beyond school. 

These events are a great opportunity to learn more about subjects you enjoy, hear from professionals about their career journeys, and ask questions about study and training options. Whether you already have a clear goal or are still exploring your interests, participating in these events can help you make more informed choices about your future.

We encourage all students to get involved, stay curious, and make the most of these opportunities to start planning your pathway ahead.

STEM & Law Career Workshop

On 2nd June a number of our students participated in the “SuperIP’ IndustryImmersion program that was arranged by Monash Tech School and in collaboration with Swinburne University.  The workshop was designed and facilitated by Dr Mitchell Adams, a Senior Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law from Swinburne University of Technology.

Students learnt about the interconnection between STEM and Commercial Law, and how it supports scientific research, entrepreneurship and innovation.  They gained an understanding of what a career in Intellectual Property (IP) and Copyright Law could look like.  They also heard from professionals working in IP and Copyright fields and gained insights into courses offered by Swinburne including pathway options.
