F-2 Class

As we move through the second half of the term, students have participated in a range of assessments to help us better understand their strengths and learning needs, enabling us to support and extend each child’s development.

In Literacy, students have continued developing their understanding of letters, words, and punctuation within sentences. They have also explored the topic of the beach, creating lists of nouns and adjectives to enhance their descriptive writing.

In Mathematics, students have worked on shapes, addition, and subtraction before moving on to patterns. They have been developing their understanding of two- and three-object repeating patterns.

Swimming lessons have been a highlight, with students showing wonderful improvement each week. They are excited for their final pool party session next week.
