Year 10 Work Experience

Over the next fortnight, Year 10 students will be discussing Work Experience, which will be held from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July, 2025. There are a number of steps required to be completed once some research has been done in regards to selecting an industry type of interest and then planning some possible employers to contact.

In addition to this, if you have a family business and would be interested in hosting a student at your workplace, please email Taryn Kneebone (taryn.kneebone@smseymour.catholic.edu.au) with the company details, location and your best contact details.

The Seymour Careers and Jobs Expo

This new event was held at Kings Park on Tuesday 29 April. Students from Years 9, 11 and 12 VM had the opportunity to attend and explore over 30 exhibitors from a broad range of employers, work experience opportunities and discover future study options.  

It was a fantastic afternoon of interactive learning, activities and great conversations were held among the students on the day.
