Peoples Day

World Indigenous Peoples Day (August 2025), activity focussed on the Wurundjeri 

Woi-wurung People and their lands on which Glenroy College sits. 

The indigenous/local native gardens planted by the GECOS (GC student enviro crew) were utilised for ‘info bingo’.

Info cards were placed in these gardens with relevant info on Wurundjeri culture particularly in terms of usage and cultural connection of certain plants.
