School Fete

FETE UPDATE — JUNE 2026

The Excitement is Building!

Things are really starting to take shape for our upcoming School Fete on Friday 21 November, and the energy from our incredible community has been absolutely wonderful to see!

Working groups are forming, ideas are flowing, and the excitement is building as we all work together to bring this special day to life.

It truly takes a village!

What’s New This Week

We are thrilled to share that our food and drinks lineup is coming together beautifully — Chatime, Twista Bros, and Komeya are already locked in, and we’re in talks with a wood-fired pizza truck that has us very excited. On top of that, Ito En has generously donated some bottles of Oi Ocha green tea to keep everyone refreshed on the day.

We’re also finalising our activity zones — think petting zoo, reptile exhibit, catch-a-duck, a dedicated Japanese cultural corner with origami and more, plus face painting and a photo booth. A draft layout is in the works. Watch this space for a sneak peek at what’s in store!

We Still Need You!

DJ / Stage Support

Got DJ skills or equipment — or just a passion for great music and live energy? We’d love your help bringing the stage to life on fete day! Whether you’re an experienced DJ or simply enthusiastic and keen to get involved, we want to hear from you.

Rides & Activities Team

Rides are booked, and soon we will be calling out for more volunteers to help in the day.. keep a look out!

If you love seeing kids having the time of their lives, this is the team for you!

Silent Auction — Calling for Donations!

We are building an incredible silent auction and would love your help. We’re seeking donations of:

  • Products, gift sets, or hampers
  • Vouchers for services (restaurants, classes, experiences)
  • Business or professional services

Every donation — big or small — makes a difference. If you or your business would like to contribute, please reach out to the PFC directly.

Your Action Items This Week

  • Think about times and activities that you could volunteer for on the day — even a 1-hour shift makes a huge difference
  • Donate to the silent auction — new products, vouchers, or services welcome
  • Spread the word — share this with a friend or family member who might want to get involved

A heartfelt thank you to the families and businesses who have already offered donated items, food, time, and ideas — including Theresia who is whipping up hundreds of homemade shumai for the food stalls! Your generosity and community spirit mean the world to us. We also have Laura who has volunteered to help with the BBQ on the day

We can’t wait to celebrate together and make this the best CPS Fete yet!

Contact the PFC at caulfieldps.pfc@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer!
