Health & PE

Welcome back to Health and PE for Term 2!  Looking forward to a fantastic term of learning.

This term our Health focus will be on Feelings, Relationships & Belonging.  Students will explore personal characteristics and those of others, emotions they experience, different emotional responses and strategies to manage emotions as well as the influence of emotional responses on interactions, personal and social skills and strategies to build, manage and strengthen respectful relationships, the importance of valuing diversity and how this influences wellbeing, as well as identify actions that promote inclusion.

All grades commenced this week with a recap from term one of the impact of physical activity, the benefits of physical activity and ways to increase physical activity.  Students also participated in team building games and activities to reconnect with class mates after the holidays.  It was lots of fun and some wonderful teamwork and support was evident!
