Primary Students Running the Distance
A great day of Participation, Encouragement, and Achievement in Primary Cross Country
What a fantastic day it was at our Cross Country Run for Community event! We were blessed with beautiful weather, creating splendid conditions for a wonderful community event. We were thrilled by the huge turnout of parents and families—your support and encouragement made a big difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your presence.
The coffee was flowing, while the parents’ race proved to be a standout highlight of the day. With a significant increase in participation compared to last year, it was great to see so many parents getting involved—with plenty of competitive spirit, balloon popping and laughter along the way.
Most importantly, our students were absolute legends. They represented themselves and our school wonderfully—having a go, pushing through tired legs, and discovering that trying hard things can lead to success, and that we are often far more capable than we give ourselves credit for. We couldn’t be prouder.
Thanks again to everyone who helped make the day such a fun, community-filled event!
And now for the results. This is Jarra’s first ever win at Cross Country. Their last tribal win came back in 2018 at Athletics.
1st Place - Jarra 249 points
2nd Place - Wirri 235 points
3rd Place - tied - Mani & Kaja 202 points each
