Senior Report

Literacy:

We have finally finished the Tale of Despereuax - yay, and watched the movie on Wednesday. The movie was quite different to the book but we still really enjoyed watching the movie and studying the book. We have finished looking at persuasive pieces and techniques this term and will be moving on to Greek Myths and Information Reports next term.

Maths

We have finished our topic on Money and Financial Contexts and I can say how well all the students went in developing their knowledge of money - be it learning how to make a money amount to using their understanding of rounding to round money to the nearest 5 cents and 50 cents.

ART

We have finally started our self portraits and I must say that the students backgrounds are all looking beautiful - they have put so much effort and planning into their portraits and I am excited to see their final results next term.
