Principal Report

End of Term 

Thank you to all of our students, staff, parents and wider community for another fantastic term. Term 2 is always a challenging term, with the colder weather and shorter days, but everyone's positive attitude and ongoing support have helped our students remain engaged and focused on their learning.

Learning is a team effort, and creating the best possible learning environment for our students takes a whole community. We are incredibly grateful for the encouragement, support and partnership shown by our families and community throughout the term. 

I hope everyone enjoys a fun, safe and well-deserved holiday break. Whether you're spending time with family, travelling or simply taking the opportunity to rest and recharge, I hope you return refreshed and ready for another exciting term.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 3 on Monday 13 July.

Parent Teacher Conferences 

Thank you to the families who attended the Parent/Teacher Interviews this week. Your attendance shows a shared value and belief in education. 

Research consistently shows that parental engagement is associated with higher academic achievement, better attendance, improved behaviour, and stronger social and emotional wellbeing (AITSL, 2024).

Terry Floyd Blue Day!

This week we concluded the term a Blue Ribbon Day to help raise awareness of the Terry Floyd Foundation. An organistion who has a vision to improve the lives and education of students in small rural settings. 

Toegteher we raised $60 dollars to help support this wonderful organistion who in turn supports us. 

Students also had the chance to dress in blue or as their favourite super hero while also participating in a range of fun activities including Blue Earth games with Miss. Coffey, bracelet making with Mrs. Punton, Literacy and Craft with Miss Deane and cooking with myself.
