The Protectors  Incursion:

 The Brainstorm Theatre performed - ‘The Protectors’ for Foundation - Year 4 last week.

The key messages of the production were that Bullying in all its forms are hurtful. We all have the tools and strategies inside us to be assertive and stop bullying in its tracks.

Several scenarios were played out around teasing, online (cyberbullying) and ongoing put downs, and also how to manage them with assertiveness.

‘…the story of Leo and Serena, who are struggling to get along with their peers. When Leo and Serena enter ‘Protector School’ they discover that empathy, assertiveness, and respect are their real superpowers. They learn how to build resilience and positive connections at school, at home and online.’
