French Poetry Competition

Dear Parents and Carers of Grade 3-6 students,

The Alliance Francaise Berthe Mouchette Poetry competition is on again this year. We are not able to  organise enrolments as a school, however it is possible to for up to 10 students per school to register as individual participants directly via the Alliance Francaise:

All information including marking criteria, poem selection, important dates, poem recordings, sign up information etc can all be found via the Alliance Francaise website.

Enrolment deadline is Wednesday 8th April 2026

The cost of entry is $16.00

If you and your child decide they will enter, please let your child’s French teacher know so they can listen to the poem prior to the recital date in Term 2 and offer them support if they would like it.

Please note that there is a limit of 10 students per school if students are entering as independent participants, so it will be ‘first in best dressed’.
