Sports Captains Corner

Hi everyone, 

Cross Country took place on Friday the 20th of March at Darling Gardens. Well done to everyone who participated! Some students did Fun Laps earning points for their house and some people challenged themselves with the Cross Country Race. It was so good to see everyone out there being fit and active, trying their best and achieving their goals.

Students in years 4 to 6 who placed top ten and got a ribbon have the opportunity to represent Clifton Hill Primary at District. It will be held at Princess Park, next term on May the 28th. 

The Regional Swimming competition was on the 19th of March, held at Water Marc in Greensborough.. CHPS participated in 15 events, including individual, the Medley Relay and  Freestyle Relay. It was a truly amazing effort from everyone that participated on the day. Making it to Regional is an achievement in itself however we also won 9 medals from 2 relay teams and one individual event. This year, the 12/13 girls won gold in  the Freestyle Relay event qualifying for State Championships next term. Incredible job girls and good luck at State!
