STEM Harmony

Peanut Butter and Jelly
Eddie M in 5KS and her merry STEM-gineers have been visiting the lab in their break time to repurpose an old milk crate into something more comfortable for our resident possums, Peanut Butter and Jelly.
They have been using their knowledge of different materials to provide comfort, security and even flair to the possum’s new pad. Thank you Eddie, Aubrie, Quinn, Frieda, Marlo and the Year 5 makers!
Unity in Diversity
As part of the Year 5 Integrated unit on Migration, the classes read my picture storybook ‘MyGration Story’ and enjoyed learning more about me and my arrival to Australia. To keep the message of the book going, I painted a series of pieces (one for each class) with the message ‘Unity in Diversity’.
Each student was then asked to collaborate with the art piece, producing a poster for the class which will be framed once complete.
Thank you to the class teachers Vicki, Kate, Kyle, Dana, Lucy and Kyle for incorporating this into their learning time.
