Congratulations to Logan Lockyer who placed 3rd at the QLD State Gravity Enduro mountain bike race in September.
Congratulations to Finn Slade who has been accepted into the AusCycling Development Academies MTB Team (Qld) for the 2024-2025 season. He will be training for state and National events through this program. His focus is the Endurance (XCO & GE) MTB Development Academy group.
Finn Slade finished second in the XCC and third in the XCO QLD State Mountain Biking races this weekend. XCC is a cross country style mountain bike race that is best described as a "Short Course" with a duration of around 30 minutes of racing. XCO stands for "Cross Country Olympic" which is the longer version lasting an hour.
Congratulations to Jase Daniels who won gold in hammer throw and silver in javelin and pole vault at the NQ Athletics Championships. He will now represent North Queensland at the Australian All Schools Championships in Brisbane later this year.
Harvey Rees, Lachlan Hodge, Xavier Curtin, Will Palmer, Blake Watson, Ian De Lange, Samson Pittorino and Lucas Brierley competed in the Northern Alliance U15s Carnival last weekend. Saints comprised the majority of the Far Northern Cricket team that competed against Central, Northern, and Mackay Whitsundays. The team came out on top after an amazing 4 days of cricket.
We’re thrilled to share Marcus Kurzelewski's recent success. He continues to excel in his soccer refereeing. Congratulations Marcus on your ongoing achievements.
During the holidays, Daniel O'Donnell participated in the choral ensemble at the Australian Honours Ensemble Program (AHEP), at Griffith University Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane.
Daniel was one of 280 students from across Australia chosen for this program out of over 1000 students who auditioned.
