The wind forced heavy wind as the year 6 entrepreneurs readied the stalls hoping for huge profit. Some entrepreneurs already started eating their product before the customers arrived, and soon enough they did. The foundation students gazed upon stalls that had items they liked and quickly ran up to them. Other unsuccessful year 6 groups could not stand the small profit they had, and dragged the students to their stall. They ended up warned. Dark clouds approached, the wind blew fiercely and little drops of rain quickly turned into a heavy downpour. Everyone fled, panicking and gripping onto their items as they rushed upstairs. Though it wasn’t the end. They managed to redo their stalls in no time and soon enough, business blew. Everyone had a huge profit as the buyers were satisfied with their product, even bringing their friends over to buy! In the end, the year 6 entrepreneurs had gathered lots of tickets for graduation. Everyone was satisfied with their work and profit. - Agamvir

The air was filled with excitement as the hard working Year 6's hauled large and small tables onto the crowded basketball courts for their hard earned Market Day. Everyone was filled with fever as tables were continuously getting filled with products that everyone loves. The super nervous Foundation Students showed up as the Year 6's first customers, Many stalls had long lines of Foundation Students waiting to try out their amazing games and products the Year 6s had to offer. Then the cheeky little Year 1 students showed up, this time ALL of them were louder than the Year 6s themselves. Some Year 1s were honest and humble, but some were impudent little shoplifters that they thought they could get away with. Luckily for the Year 6's, all of them were caught, but many Grade 1's were disappointed in themselves for not being more discreet. Then the sinister rain shows up and starts bombarding drops of rain. Then the Year 6's scrambled to grab all their tables and products to keep them safe. Soon after everything and everyone was dry and inside classrooms, then Market Day continued as normal. We had Grade 3s, Grade 4s and Grade 5s come and spend most of their tickets on games and food at almost every stall. Almost every stall sold out all their products, in the end, Market Day was a huge success - Syed

Frozen smiles remained on all the year sixes faces setting up for the annual Market Day, students gathered on the basketball court preparing for the fun day ahead. The mixture of excitement blended with nervousness like a feelings smoothie. The Preps began the stall anxious to witness their first ever Market day while all the year sixes kindly and patiently waited for the Preps to decide what they would like to buy. As classes passed by, dark clouds drifted in the area until all of a sudden a shower of rain dropped in. Everyone rushed swiftly to the deck entering the classrooms desperate to set up again hoping that everything survived. Tables were drenched with water and posters barely functional but the resilience and persistence of the students kept all upright. Sooner Market Day opened up again, classes popped in, some more than once. The day may have had its downs but it was an amazing day. - Mannat

Excitement filled the air as the year 6 students prepared their stalls for our annual market day, with loaded baked goods, lollies, arts and crafts and much more. The foundation students explored this weird looking market and were unsure and shy when they were asked questions. Everyone was happy and joyful but little did they know something not so good was going to happen. The grey fluffy clouds drifted through the air fast, and then…RAIN!!! The heavy rain drenched us and our equipment. It was the worst. It was a good thing we had a plan B so we quickly merged on the ramp and headed to the classroom and wiped off our things and started business again. At the end our whole grade 6 cohort packed up the classrooms quickly and the rubbish and the teacher were amazed, but overall it was a pretty good day. - Jasmine P

Excited emotion burst out into the air as the grade 6's were preparing for the annual market day. The vibes on the day were off the charts as our nervous little foundation students came along to visit our stalls. Most of the foundation students did not know what to do and just walked along our booths and checked for what they would like. Foundation students walked by us as if we weren't even there. The ignorance was hard to bear as our hopes went down for no profit at all for now. The Foundation students have left the market as grade 1’s emerged to cause even more chaos. Stalls were filled with customers as some stalls couldn't even bear the amount! The first session came to an end, when everyone thought that all was good, but little did they know the worst was about to happen…

After a small break we were all getting ready to run our stalls with confidence as we had a bit more experience with running our stall again. One drop of water, nothing could go wrong right? One drop became two, two became three and three became a whole CLOUD!! The year sixes had to rush into the classrooms and get prepared to continue the market. They swiftly grabbed something and ran into the classrooms as fast as the wind. Posters were gone, there was nothing left to take from anything left outside. Luckily we transported all our tables, bins, goods and some of the posters. In about 30 minutes we were rocking and rollin’! People were coming in and purchasing our goods as more and more people came in, some classes even came in twice. We were in business.  - Sandiv

I was filled with joy when it was Market Day. After setting our stalls the foundation students came in. People were trying to get the buyers to their stall to get more tickets. Then the rain came in. Some groups were a bit worried about the products or decor but other than that we were all resilient and cleaned up as fast as we could and got back to selling. Lot’s of people came to our stall and bought drawings or played games to win prizes! There was also this one customer who came back to our stall about ten times to play a game to win a bunch of prizes and got two free drawings! After Market Day we all put the chairs and tables back to where they belong in classrooms and packed up.  - Hunter F
