YEAR 9
Growing Together

Head of Year 9
In Week 9, the College will participate in R U OK? Day activities to recognise and support student wellbeing.
Throughout the week, students will participate in a 'Chit Chat over a Kit Kat' activity with their Pastoral Group and teacher, providing an opportunity to spark conversations, build connections and support one other.
On Thursday, 10 September, our Junior and Senior Leaders will prepare a BBQ breakfast, and students and families are warmly invited to attend.
Students are also encouraged to wear yellow on Thursday to show their support for the R U OK? initiative. Students must wear at least one yellow clothing item, and normal grooming and jewellery expectations apply.
Please refer to the Whole of College Notices for the full range of R U OK? Day activities planned for the week.
As we approach the end of Term 3, we encourage all Year 9 students to finish strong. This is a valuable time to consolidate learning, complete assessments and reflect on personal growth.
Maintaining focus, effort and a positive mindset now will help set students up for success in Term 4 and beyond.
Early in Term 4, we will open applications for our 2027 Junior Leaders!
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to step into leadership, build confidence, and make a meaningful contribution to our College community.
Support sessions will be held during Second Lunch in Weeks 1 and 2 of Term 4 for students who would like help with their application or have questions about the role.
We look forward to seeing our students rise to the challenge and take pride in their leadership journey.
