YEAR 7 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 9
R U OK? Day
Week 9 will see the entire College engage in R U OK? Day activities to recognise and support student wellbeing. Students will participate in a ‘Chit Chat over a Kit Kat’ activity, sparking conversations that build connections and support one another. We will also hold a Dress in Yellow Day on Thursday, 10 September.

Technology Check
This week, we began checking all student laptops and accessories to ensure that they are in good working order.
Pastoral Mentors will be checking for the following:
- Visible damage, including cracked screens, missing keys or damaged casing
- Protective skin attached and student name clearly visible
- Laptop charger
Laptop bag
Any issues identified will be referred for repair, and parents/carers will be notified.
There has been an increase in students not using their allocated laptop bags when carrying their laptops around the College. All students are reminded that laptops must be carried in the bag provided. Any damage sustained as a result of failing to use the laptop bag appropriately may result in the cost of necessary repairs being charged to the student’s family.
