Prep

Last week, we celebrated ‘Book Week - A Symphony of Stories'. Students came dressed as their favourite book character and we had a special assembly and parade in the gym.

Students also donated books and attended the Yarra Road Book Swap in the BER. The children selected a new book to take home, read and enjoy, with funds raised going towards the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

On Friday the 11th of September, the Preps, Year 1s and Year 2s had their excursion to the Melbourne Zoo (We took 107 students!). The children had an amazing time exploring the zoo, attending the education session and seeing lots of animals. Some of their favourite animals were the gorillas, lemurs, dingoes, snow leopards, lions and tigers. A big thank you to Ms Stevens for organising this event and to all our wonderful parent helpers on the day - your assistance was very much appreciated.
