Short Story Competition 2025  

The WordFest Short Story Competition is now CLOSED and results will be announced in September. The winning stories will be published on the Monash Library website so keep a look out for your name or your peers’ as we had a vast number of participants for this competition.

The annual WordFest Short Story Competition is a celebration of local emerging writers and is open to all members of the Monash community over the age of 12 every year. Writers can write to any theme. 

The Premiers’ Reading Challenge

The Premier’s Reading Challenge is also nearing its conclusion on September 5th. Students are encouraged to finalise their reading and ensure all completed books are properly logged. Consider submitting a brief review or two to share your thoughts and reflections as well.
