FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Friendship Club is a welcoming space for students who may not always feel comfortable playing in the big open playground or, at times, prefer an indoor activity. Held in the library every Tuesday and Thursday during the second break, this club provides a calm, inclusive environment where students can relax, connect and enjoy play in a smaller setting.

During Friendship Club, students can choose from a variety of engaging activities including LEGO, construction, Uno, cards, drawing, chess and other tabletop games. These activities encourage creativity, teamwork and imagination, while also supporting positive social interaction.

Friendship Club plays an important role in developing students’ social skills, confidence, communication and problem-solving abilities. Through shared play, students practise taking turns, negotiating rules, resolving small challenges and building respectful friendships. The supportive environment helps students feel safe, valued and connected, which positively impacts their wellbeing and engagement at school.

Friendship Club is a wonderful example of how we support every child at Trinity to feel included and thrive.
