Loving God, as we begin the holy season of Lent, we come before you with humble and open hearts.

This is a time for us to pause, to turn back to you, and to remember your deep love and mercy.

Help us to walk with Jesus through prayer, generosity, and self-control. Teach us to let go of what distracts us from you and to grow in kindness, compassion, and faith.

As we journey toward Easter, renew our spirits and strengthen our hope, so that our lives may more clearly reflect your love.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Celebrating Shrove Tuesday with Pancakes!

Our school community enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Shrove Tuesday, a traditional day that marks the time before the season of Lent begins. Our students not only loved digging into the pancakes, but also enthusiastically participated in the celebration by donating a gold coin to support Caritas Australia, helping raise funds for people in need. This generous act reflected the important values of compassion, kindness and social justice.

A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers, Melissa, Michael, Amanda, Linh, Joshua and Nancy, and to our teachers who generously gave their time to prepare, cook and serve the pancakes. Their efforts helped make the morning such a success and ensured that everyone enjoyed this special tradition.

Thank you to all our families for donating to Project Compassion. Each class has a fundraising box on their prayer table, and we invite our community to make a small donation to help spread kindness and hope to people who are not as lucky as we are. You can click on the link HERE to find out more about Caritas.

Ash Wednesday Mass

Thank you to all our families and friends who were able to join us for our Ash Wednesday Mass this week. I was very proud of the reverence the students demonstrated throughout this reflective time.
