Equestrian
Term Three has been flying by and now that spring has arrived, we have many students back into full-time training and attending competitions after the brief winter break. This term we warmly welcomed back Millie Mould, and it is a delight to have her so involved in the equestrian program.
Recent Results
Last weekend Claire Haydon, Rosie Christie and Alinta Margetts competed at the Interschool Competition in Warrnambool. Congratulations to you all for achieving a qualification for the State Championships next year.
A huge congratulations to Finley Hiscock who recently won the Equestrian Victorian Jumping Ambassador award and Charlie Hiscock who was a top three finalist. This award recognises young people who demonstrate leadership, dedication and a genuine passion for their discipline. An exceptional achievement and very well merited!
National Interschool Championships
During the upcoming holidays Lyla Woolston will compete at the 2026 National Interschool Championships. Lyla is the first rider we have had qualify for this prestigious event in a long time. We wish Lyla and Sky all the very best!
Equestrian Centre Booking System
We now have a dedicated booking page for people who wish to hire an arena or the whole Equestrian Centre. This page is still in its infancy stages, but it is a great option for students who wish to use the arena during the holidays and on weekends. Hire of the equestrian facilities will be free for current students but it allows you to have a dedicated time set aside to train when required.
The general public and pony clubs can also book the centre or an arena, but this will be limited to school holidays and long weekends so it does not impact boarding and day students access to facilities.

Scottie Barclay Clinic - 26 and 27 September
Scottie Barclay will run a jumping clinic at the Equestrian Centre on September 26 and 27. Scottie Barclay has 10 years of international experience competing throughout Europe. He moved home nine years ago to establish his business in Australia, including coaching, training and competing. He regularly runs popular clinics around Victoria and interstate.
This is a two-day clinic and costs $150 for two group lessons.
