Student Successes

Congratulations to a number of students who have achieved significant successes over the past few weeks across a range of school and external activities. Year 12 student Braden Veale won the recent Noorat Shoot, receiving the High Gun award for the best score of the field. The event is one of the largest school shoots of the year, so to take the day is no small feat. Finlay Hunt has recently returned from a six-day camp at US Space and Rocket Centre, having last year been awarded the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship. Finlay was one of only six Australians selected for the program. Finley Hiscock has again achieved well in the equestrian field, being named Equestrian Victoria’s 2026 Young Ambassador of the Year for jumping. And finally, Pip Mecham, for taking out the Secondary Schools prize at the Coleraine Art and Photography Show with her painting Sturgeon Sunset. Well done to all of these students, they are fantastic examples of the breadth of activities our students engage in, within and beyond the College program.  

Biennial isLEAD School Effectiveness Surveys

Last week families were sent the link to complete the 2026 isLEAD parent survey. If you haven’t yet had the chance to complete it, I ask that you give 10 minutes to help inform the continued growth and flourishing of our school. Further information about the surveys is available here.  

Global Experiences Sign-up – Final Call

And finally, a last reminder that expressions of interest for the four 2027 tours being offered as part of the suite of Global Experiences 2027-2028 are open. Expressions of interest are due strictly by Friday 4 September, and can be submitted here.
