Expanding the classroom

what our students have been doing in class and out in the field

Yr 10 Tiny Village Design

Students from JMSS's tiny village elective visited Monash Tech School in early August to explore the art of Cricut. No not the insect, the paper cutting tool similar to a laser cutter but used in a range of applications from design, prototyping and packaging. A short intro and the students were ready to print their creations. This was followed by a scavenger hunt of materials useful in the tiny village. With many thanks to our colleagues James Lee and Chelsea Watts from MTS for enabling this visit. We look forward to more production insights in our next visit.
