Hiragana Competion

On Tuesday, the 4th of August, Week 3 our team attended the North East District's Schools Hiragana Competition, this year hosted by Dernancourt Primary School. Our team included Mansur, Adrian and Harper. Teams from 13 different schools competed against each other for the trophy and this year was the biggest yet and the 20th anniversary of the competition. As well as the competition the team enjoyed lunch with sushi and juice and play on the school playground, as well as a piece of cake! Another highlight for the team was a Kendama competition with all our team having fun trying to get the ball onto one of the ends!

It lovely to see our Modbury team get better and better every year, with this year placing 9th. 

I am very proud of the team with their effort and resilience they showed at the competition.
