Mother's Day Celebration
Thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunties and special people who attended our Mother’s Day Assembly and Morning Tea last week. It was such a beautiful morning and wonderful to see so many familiar faces joining us to celebrate the important role you play in the lives of our children. The children were so excited and proud to show you their special book presentation and Mother’s Day video, it was great to see their joy and enthusiasm. I hope you felt celebrated, appreciated and valued for all the countless things you do each and every day.
The morning tea provided an opportunity for our community to come together, connect and share in this special occasion. It was lovely to spend time speaking with many of our mums and families, hearing about your plans for Mother’s Day - most of us just wanted a sleep in so I do hope you all got one!! We hope everyone had a beautiful and relaxing Mother’s Day on Sunday surrounded by love and appreciation and you all enjoyed the handmade gift created by your child; all the children put so much thought, care and pride into making them.
