Camps Update

SENIOR SURF CAMP
Saturday 2nd May & Sunday 3rd May 2026
Over the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd, some of our senior students enjoyed an incredible Surf Camp experience at Phillip Island’s Smiths Beach. Blessed with amazing weather and near-perfect surf conditions, the camp provided the ideal setting for students to challenge themselves and fully embrace the coastal environment.
Across the weekend, students participated in three two-hour surf sessions under the guidance of experienced instructors. From the outset, students demonstrated outstanding focus and enthusiasm, listening carefully to instructions and applying feedback to improve their skills in the water.
The conditions played their part, with clean waves and sunshine creating an inviting and enjoyable learning environment. Each session saw growing confidence among the group, with students supporting one another and celebrating every small success along the way.
What stood out most was the commitment shown by all participants. Every student fully engaged in each of the sessions, showing persistence as they worked through the challenges of learning to surf. Their attentiveness to the instructors and willingness to keep trying paid off—by the end of the camp, every student was up on their board and successfully riding waves.
The weekend was not only about surfing, but also about building resilience, teamwork, and lasting memories. The shared experience at Smiths Beach created a strong sense of camaraderie, with plenty of laughter and encouragement both in and out of the water.
With perfect conditions, outstanding student participation, and impressive progress made by all, it was an unforgettable weekend that showcased the spirit and determination of our senior cohort.
Well done to all students who attended!
