Year 7 Tennis
As we played against Wyndham, the sets were easy and our confidence was at its highest, as we went on with our tennis the difficulty got harder and our confidence was starting to breach, but as we played Manor Lakes in for 3rd position our confidence boosted and we managed to beat Manor Lakes. This was a nerve-wracking match and we are honored to play for Brinbeal Secondary College, Somil won 14 sets, Mansher won 13 sets, Mansi won 12 sets, Adiv won 18 sets, Adiv was first choice player and Somil was 2nd choice player, Mansher was 3rd choice player and Mansi was 4th choice player, regardless of our choices we all played well and we shouldn't beat ourselves up for being 3rd or 4th choice, we all played well and i think Brinbeal deserved 3rd place.

Year 8 Volleyball
A big congratulations to our Year 8 boys and girls volleyball teams for their dedication and effort in training and competition! After weeks of hard work, they took to the courts at Eagle Stadium, facing tough opponents and showcasing their skills in a series of exciting matches.
The teams came away with both wins and losses, but more importantly, they gained valuable experience, teamwork skills and great memories along the way. Their commitment, sportsmanship, and determination were evident in every game, and they should all be incredibly proud of their efforts.
Well done to everyone who represented Brinbeal College with pride! We look forward to seeing what you achieve next!"
Year 8 Netball
Hello people of Brinbeal, parents and the community, I am Saanvi, and we played netball on Wednesday. Versing four different schools, winning 2 games, and losing 2 games. I loved that day as because we were one team helping each other out, supporting each other and giving it our best go !! At the start, quarter times, half time and breaks we would all come together and discuss what we did well ad what we can improve on for the next quarter. My cheerleading skills were super supportive to whoever was on court. Even though a few people were a bit confused while playing, we all still had lots of fun.

The Brinbeal Secondary College Year 8 girls had an unforgettable day playing netball at Eagle Stadium on the 26th March 2024. It was an amazing experience filled with laughter, energy, and team spirit. Although we lost 2 games, we still won 2 games, yes we did have some issues and challenges with some of the schools we played against, we made sure to stick to the game rules, play fair and follow our school values of:
Aspiration and Achievement: Cheering each other on and encouraging each other
Respect: Respecting everyone
Acceptance: Accepting our and each other's mistakes
And also displaying positive attitude towards everyone and just most of all having fun.
Even though we didn't place what we wanted we learnt that not everything is about winning but also about Teamwork and having fun!

At netball the selected team got a chance to represent Brinbeal for Netball. We competed against 4 schools at Eagle stadium. We won the first game, lost the second and third and won the fourth game. Netball was a very fun experience and even though we weren't able to win all games we still showed the Brinbeal's values Respect, Aspiration, Achievement and acceptance also being resilience and cheering each other on consistently throughout the games. We ended up placing 7th out of the ten schools and 3rd for our pool. All the girls displayed great sportsmanship and had a great time at netball.

Together, The Girls Netball Team headed to Eagle Stadium to compete against other schools from Wyndham. While some of us had prior experience with netball and others were new to the game, we all demonstrated our college values by persevering and supporting each other. We played four games against Doherty's Creek, Manor Lakes, Hoppers Crossing, and Wyndham Central, winning two out of the four. I’m proud of what we achieved in the Interschool Sport competition and how we played as a team against other schools!"

Year 7 Netball
It was nerve-wracking. We were going up against teams who were known to win in all sporting events – of course we were hesitant. It was our first time playing together as a team and we were representing Brinbeal, the pressure was high. We went up against four different teams: Werribee, Tarneit P-9, Truganina College and The Grange! And with luck and support, we were able to win every single one of them. I’d like to give my thanks to Ms. Genge, Ms. Radford, and my teammates. Without them, I don’t believe we’d make it to the next round. Wish us luck for the next round!

On Monday the 31st of march our school had netball for the year 7s I Absolutely loved it!! It was so much fun and i loved that I got the opportunity to make new friends and spend some time with new people and show other schools what we've got. The highlight of my day was... (drumroll please) The last few seconds against the grange as this would make i that we won the finals and would be going to regionals As we all jumped in joy it gave me happiness that we had won for our school.

We got to eagle stadium, and we were excited to play. We got there on the courts and our first team we versed was Werribee. We got on the court ready to play and first round and it went quickly. Then it came to the last one and we won. We weren’t really confident for the first game. Second game we versed Tarneit P-9, and we won. Our faces when we won, and we made it into the semi-finals was crazy. We versed Truganina and they were tough for everyone, and they were taller and competitive, but we still won. We moved on to the Grand finals. We were playing against the grange which we didn’t want to play with at the start of how good they were. We started we were in the lead unbelievable they got one we got one and after that last bell we won by 11 points. We were so excited even during the game Hoppers crossing was cheering for us and celebrating. We got back overjoyed. That’s the day we knew the netball team was the best team and will always be.
