Dutch Carnaval

A Vibrant Celebration: Dutch Carnaval at Our School

This year, our school hosted a lively and colourful Dutch Carnaval, bringing together students and staff for a day full of joy and tradition. The hallways were filled with students dressed in creative costumes, as everyone joined in on the festivities. From traditional music and dancing to fun games and activities, the event was a wonderful celebration of Dutch culture. It was a great opportunity for our community to come together, embrace the spirit of Carnaval, and make lasting memories in the process. We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration!

Student Testimonials

It was incredible, I loved the decorations, the games, and the vibe in general. We were able to play ‘Egg in The Spoon’, ‘Darts’, ‘Bowling’ etc. It was a place to learn and appreciate different cultures and it was a blast experiencing the different Dutch traditions. The music in the background was a nice touch as well. I’ve really enjoyed my Dutch lessons this term, and I can’t wait to learn more in our upcoming weeks!

I wanted to share my experience at the Netherlands carnival—it was colourful, exciting, and full of creativity! The carnival was in my school, and we got to wear our own clothes. It took place inside the library, and there was so much to see—games, music, and more. What I loved most was how the carnival mixed tradition with new, creative ideas. It felt like a big, joyful experiment where everyone could express themselves. I can’t wait to see how it keeps evolving!
