YEAR 5/6 FUN-RAISER

This week our Year 5/6 students organised and ran a fantastic Fun-Raiser at lunchtimes, and it was a roaring success! The stalls, games and activities were enjoyed by students across the school, creating a wonderful sense of fun and community. 

Through this event, our students truly put their learning about justice, compassion and the dignity of every person into action, showing an exceptional spirit of wanting to make a positive difference. Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, the Fun-Raiser has raised an incredible$1,133.15 for Matayupan Elementary School in the Philippines, helping to provide resources that promote compassion and dignity for the students. 

It has made my heart so happy to see the students work so hard and give so generously of their time to help others. Congratulations to our Year 5/6 students for their creativity, leadership, and commitment to making a real difference in the lives of others. A huge thank you to the wonderful Year 5/6 teachers who helped the Fun-raiser the fantastic success that it was, and to all the parents who supported the cause and encouraged their children’s learning through participation.
