Florence always enters the classroom each morning with a big smile and a hello! Over the year, Florence has brought a new level of perseverance to her learning each day. She consistently tries her hardest at being focused and loves exploring new leanings, especially in literacy and Visual Art. Florence can work with any of her peers and is always ready to assist others. Her perseverance is really shining through as she continues to try her best each day! She consistently tries her hardest at being focused and loves exploring new learnings, across all curriculum areas. Her perseverance is really shining through as she continues to try her best each day! You're on fire Marselle and such a great help in the classroom. You are very kind and generous with your time to all of your classmates.  Keep up the amazing work!!!

For consistently displaying a strong sense of independence in her learning. 

Zoe, you complete tasks with care and make thoughtful choices about how to approach your learning.

Antonia displays this disposition through

her kind efforts to include others during break time. Antonia, it has been awesome to see you widening your social circle and inviting others to sit with your group. Continue to spread this generosity, we love to see it! 

For not giving up when she finds a task challenging. Marian has a go at different learning activities and persists to complete them to the best of her ability, such as her information report on Cherry Blossom Trees. Marian asks questions when she is unsure about something.

For not giving up when learning new strategies in Maths!

Giselle, I really liked the way you didn’t give up 

and how you were determined when learning about short division. I know you were in the learning pit but you approached the learning with focus, resilience and a positive mindset. You can do anything you put your mind to!

You’re doing extremely well in Grade 3 and I hope you’re as proud of yourself as I am of you!

For helping others in times of need. Emily, you are always checking in with your teacher to see if any help is required and are often the first person to offer assistance if a task needs completing. 

This kindness and generosity has not gone unnoticed! 

Jacob Hadchiti

Jacob has started term 2 with a bang. From day one he has been eager to get started on his learning, contribute to class conversations and have a go in all learning areas. Jacob works hard to complete tasks in the given time. Jacob is consistently supporting his peers and offering support where necessary, and always ready to celebrate his peers when there is new learning achieved. Jacob has been so focused on his handwriting and the hard work is really paying off. When Jacob puts his mind to something, he doesn't stop until it is achieved! Way to go Jacob!

While only having been at St Mary's for 2 weeks, she has settled into the year 2 routines beautifully. Camilla is eager to share her learning and contribute to class discussions and is always looking for ways to improve her learning. 

For working diligently during class time. 

Henry, you approach tasks with confidence which makes you a great role model for others. You are a self motivated learner who can be trusted to work by yourself to complete work in the time allotted. I admire your discipline and intelligence and hope you continue to share your wisdom with 3/4B!

For displays this disposition by staying on task and trying different ways to achieve a positive outcome. Beau continues with a task even when he finds it challenging. He asks questions to help him in these situations and relies on peers and/or an adult for support.  Well Done Beau!!
