Student of the Week

Hendrix Sanders - Hendrix, you should be really proud of all the effort you have been putting into your learning at school. It has been amazing to see how much you have grown over the past few weeks! You are starting to share your ideas more in class and answer questions, which shows how brave you are. It has also been so lovely to see you making friends and enjoying time with your classmates. Keep trying your best and giving everything a go, Hendrix. The progress you are making is fantastic, and it is wonderful to have you as part of our class!

Patty Fulco - Patty, what a wonderful start you have made to Foundation! You always show such a beautiful spirit of kindness, inclusion and friendship to everyone around you. You go out of your way to help others, include your classmates and make sure everyone feels welcome and happy. What better week to celebrate this amazing quality in you, than during Harmony Week! I am so proud of the way you try your best in everything you do and the care you show to those around you. Hugh Davine - Congratulations Hugh! Your dedication to learning, your willingness to lend a helping hand and your kindness towards your classmates truly make you shine. Sonny Kass - What a wonderful week you have had, Sonny! Thank you for always working hard on tasks, speaking respectfully to all members of the school and bringing lots of fun to our classroom! Maya Constance - Maya, you are such a thoughtful and kind member of 1D. You are constantly showing others compassion and kindness by helping those in need. You have worked so hard this term on your writing, and I am so impressed with the recounts you have been writing. I am so proud of how you have been using time connectives and adjectives to make your writing more detailed. What an incredible Term 1. Keep it up, Maya!

Henry Homann - For enthusiastically taking on extra challenges in your learning and always giving your absolute best. You have even been looking for ways to help your teacher this week with jobs around the room, showing such thoughtfulness and responsibility. What a shining star you are! Lucy Congues - Congratulations Lucy! You have shown outstanding resilience and determination, always trying your best in everything you do. You care so much about your learning and consistently give things a go, even when they feel challenging. During NAPLAN, you pushed through moments of stress and kept going, giving your best effort every step of the way. What a true superstar you are!

Tom Gray - Tom is a thoughtful and supportive member of our class who shows kindness to his classmates. He often takes initiative to help others in their learning and helps keep our classroom environment tidy. Keep up the amazing effort Tom!

Eden Bee - Eden, this award is for the wonderful effort and concentration you have been showing in class, especially during our PhOrMeS sessions when spelling words. Your focus and determination to improve are fantastic to see. Well done and keep it up!

Layla Alessio - Layla, I have been so impressed with the way you set a great example for others and are a positive role-model in class. Emilia Howden - Emilia, you truly are the epitome of kindness. Every day you greet everyone with a genuine and warm hello and you always take the time to check in on your peers and teachers. You have such a caring way about you that makes our classroom a better place to be. A highlight was on camp. After a long, and what would have been a tiring, day in the water, you offered the surfing instructors some bananas and muesli bars. Acts like this do not go unnoticed. You are a shining light, Emilia. Keep being your wonderful self. We are so proud of you, every single day.
