Basketball Clinic
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Cristi Juffermans, Regional Development Officer for North Coast Basketball NSW, and also Lorraine Van Loo for delivering an outstanding basketball clinic to our students. Cristi and Lorraine brought incredible energy, expertise, and enthusiasm to the session, creating a fun, inclusive, and engaging environment for all.
Students were inspired by her passion for the sport and thoroughly enjoyed the fast-paced drills, skills development, and team games. Her ability to connect with students of all abilities ensured everyone felt supported and had a great time.
Thank you, Cristi, for taking the time to share your knowledge and love of basketball with us – it was a memorable and motivating experience for everyone involved!'

Boambee PS Cross-Country
Dear Boambee Public School Community,
We are thrilled to share the highlights from the 2025 Boambee Public School Cross-Country event, which took place on Thursday the 1st of May. It was a fantastic day filled with energy and enthusiasm!
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the day was the incredible parental support we received. It was wonderful to see so many families cheering for our students, creating a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere. Your presence made a significant impact and helped motivate our athletes throughout the event.
We were also incredibly impressed by the fantastic athleticism displayed by all our competitors. Each participant demonstrated remarkable determination and a "never give up" attitude, pushing through the challenges of the course. Whether they were sprinting towards the finish line or encouraging their peers, the spirit of perseverance was truly inspiring and showcased the values we cherish at Boambee Public School.
A special mention goes out to our Kindergarten and Year 1 students, who participated in their first-ever cross-country! Their excitement was palpable as they raced across the course, beaming with joy. It was a delight to see them being cheered on by the rest of the school community, showcasing the spirit of encouragement and camaraderie that defines Boambee Public School.
We are proud to announce that the top 10 students from each age group are now eligible to compete in the Toormina District Cross-Country, which will be held at Richardson Park, Sawtell, on Friday the 16th of May. Congratulations to all the students who qualified, and we wish them the best of luck in the upcoming competition!
Thank you once again to all the parents, staff, and students for making this event a success. Your support and enthusiasm are what make our school community so special.
Best wishes,
Nathan Pike
