Environment Club

On Tuesday the Environment Club worked with two people from OzGreen, Lily and Kathleen, to make several beeswax wraps. These are made with beeswax and fabric and are perfect to wrap your sandwiches and snacks in instead of using single waste plastics. Each wrap has a card with instructions on how to properly care for your beeswax wrap.

The Environment Club sold the wraps at the Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday, Week 2. We are making more beeswax wraps to sell again at the end of term assembly. The beeswax wraps at Boambee are hand-made and each use up a lot of time, so be sure to check them out!

Garden Club

On Friday in week 6 the Garden Club with be holding a fruit and vegetable Dress-Up Day. We will be asking students to dress up as their favourite fruit or vegetable and bring a gold coin donation. Stay tuned, more details to come very soon!
