What a Fabulous Term, What a Fabulous Semester of Learning!

We’re Excited for All That’s Still to Come This Year!

What a wonderful way to finish Semester 1! It is hard to believe we are already halfway through the school year. Looking back, there is so much to celebrate, and I couldn't be prouder of what our students, staff and families have achieved together.

Throughout the semester, our students have embraced every opportunity that has come their way. From swimming and cross-country, our whole-school SWPBS learning, Courage to Care, professional learning for staff, our Melbourne City Experience Camp, and the many classroom learning experiences that have filled each day, it has certainly been a busy and rewarding first half of the year. 

Most importantly, it has been wonderful to see our students continue to grow in confidence, kindness and their love of learning.

As we reach the end of the term, we also say farewell to four of our beautiful students as they begin an exciting new chapter at their new primary schools. While they will certainly be missed, we wish them every success and happiness in their new school community. Once you are part of the Cowwarr TEAM, you will always be part of the TEAM, and we hope you continue to shine.

This week we also farewell Maddy, who has been a valued member of our staff over the past three years. Maddy has shown incredible kindness, care and dedication to our students and school community, and we are so grateful for everything she has contributed. We wish her every success and happiness as she begins her next chapter.

To celebrate Maddy and our departing students, families are warmly invited to join us on the last Thursday of the term. We will be sharing a Taco Lunch to celebrate Maddy from 12:00 pm. Our families are all welcomed to join us for this special lunch.

On Friday, our final day of term, we will also be holding a special farewell lunch for our departing students and their families from 12:30 pm. Our leaving students have put in a few special requests, lasagna, sausages and sushi (what a combination lol) so I'll see what I can pull together for one final celebration! We'd love for families to join us as we celebrate their time at Cowwarr and wish them all the very best for the next chapter.

Students will be dismissed at 2:00 pm to begin a well-deserved holiday break.

As another wonderful semester comes to a close, I would like to thank all of our students, families and staff for your ongoing support throughout the year. We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive school community. Together, we continue to create a place where our students feel safe, valued and excited to learn each day.

I hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break, spends some quality time with family and friends, and returns refreshed and ready for another fantastic semester of learning together.
