House Cross Country

A reminder that House Cross Country is on Monday 29th April for all students. Please see Operoo for all details.

On Monday Aprill 22nd we held a training session for anyone who was interested. Thanks to Brad Buyck for coming in to run this session

 

During PE to prepare for the Cross Country, students have been learning about pacing themselves and setting small goals when running longer distance. Each week the Prep to 2's try and run a lap or 2 further than the week before and push their growth mindset.

 

The Grade 3 - 6 classes have been participating in a Fastest Class challenge. Each week the time they run for increases and they try to push themselves a little further. Our last two weeks of challenge results are:

House Spirit - Run/Walk Club (Friday Morning)

Friday morning running club will continue in Term 2 starting week 2, it is a great chance for students to prepare for our House Cross Country event which is coming up in Week 3 of Term 2. Here is an update of the points earned so far from Friday morings:

It is so close overall! Remember there is a house cup sitting in the front office that display's each weekly winner. There is also a weekly leaderboard up in the 5/6 building window that will be updated each week.

Swimming Program

In the final week of Term 2 is our school swimming Program at Aquanation. An Operoo form has been sent out with all details. Please ensure you have responded to assist us with the planning and organisation of the event. Thank you!
