Welcome back to Term 2! 

Students kicked off the term with a collaborative artwork for Anzac Day, emphasizing the importance of the occasion and the symbolism of poppies. Each student crafted their own poppy and were able to choose how to colour their poppy from a range of mediums, including watercolor painting, chalk pastels, oil pastels, pencils and pens, and crayons. These poppies will be featured on a canvas, forming a field beneath a rising sun, to be displayed across the school, ensuring Anzac Day is duly recognized and honoured by all.

After finishing their poppy for the whole school collaborative artwork, students crafted a collage poppy to take home, with the background bearing the words 'Lest We Forget'.
