Feast Day

On Monday 18 August we celebrated St Helena's Feast Day. We started the day with our buddy classes with activities that brought our value of Care for the Earth to life.
From making banana peel fertiliser and ‘Use it up tape’ to crafting seed bombs and planting sunflower seeds, each cohort worked together to do something beautiful for God by caring for creation.
Students then hosted and attended their own stalls. There was popcorn, iced biscuits, frozen bananas, homemade sorbet, games, hair spray, a disco and more as students raised money for Catholic charities.
To celebrate our school value of community, all students from Year One to Year Six gathered under the shade sails for a picnic lunch.
To finish Feast Day we gathered as one to give thanks to God for our school and celebrate our patron saint, St Helena.
