When people ask me “what's it like working at Boarding?” my response is often...”never a dull moment”! I'll give you a couple of examples, in the last few weeks:
- I’ve been chased by a teenager wielding a frog and had to escape out the emergency door. I've also had numerous teenagers in my garden, searching for a noisy bull frog.
- I went to Harvey Norman and purchased an ice cream maker.
- I witnessed a remarkable gesture of kindness and compassion between two students.
- I've challenged a few students on their choices and behaviours.
- I’ve celebrated with two students, when they've been proud of their test results.
- I've driven a student to the airport at 5.30am.
- I’ve watched a movie in the school gym on a Friday night.
- I've listened to the Lorax song (eek!) first thing in the morning.
This week, I've asked the girls to answer my Burning Boarding Questions, here are their unique responses:

| What is the biggest challenge of Boarding for you? | The biggest challenge of boarding for me would probably be living with your peers all the time as you don't get much time to yourself and phone hand in times as you must balance everything you want to do on your phone in portions on time. |
| What do you most enjoy about Boarding and why? | The most joyful thing about boarding is being around your friends and spending time with them. |
| If you could meet one person in the world, who would it be and why? | If I could meet one person in the world it would be Sam Kerr as she is one of the best female soccer players in the world and she has such a positive mindset towards life and the challenges involved. |
| What is your dream holiday destination, and have you been there before? | My dream holiday would be to go to Paris, it's a really nice place to visit and known for its tourist attractions and I've never been there before so it would be lovely to go there sometime. |

This week we send our best wishes to Azriel Bin Omar who has travelled home to Broome to celebrate her birthday with family. We had a little in-house celebration before she left for home.
