State Swimming:

On Thursday 23rd April, eight of our students proudly represented Sacred Heart Primary School at the State Swimming Championships held at MSAC Melbourne.

All students demonstrated outstanding effort, sportsmanship and determination against some of the best young swimmers in the state.

A special congratulations to Billie Archibald, who finished 7th in the 50m Freestyle, and Angus Douglass, who placed 6th in his 50m Freestyle event—an incredible achievement at this level.

Our relay teams also performed exceptionally well. The Under 9/10 Boys team of Levi, Livai, Angus and Reggie swam brilliantly to finish 5th, while the Under 11 Girls team of Indi, Annabelle, Olivia and Billie secured a fantastic 6thplace.

We are extremely proud of all eight students for their commitment, courage and the way they represented our school. Competing at a state level is a remarkable accomplishment, and they should all be very proud of their efforts.

Cross Country & Fun Run

We are excited to announce that the Sacred Heart Primary School Cross Country and Fun Run will be held on Thursday 28th May at Vic Park, Yarrawonga.

All students will have the opportunity to participate in this fantastic event, with races organised by age group. Our younger students (Prep–Year 2) will take part in the Fun Run, focusing on participation, enjoyment and giving their best effort, while students in Years 3–6 will compete in the Cross Country, challenging themselves over longer distances.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to demonstrate perseverance, resilience and school spirit, while also promoting health, fitness and an active lifestyle. We encourage all students to come along, give it a go and support their peers.

Families are warmly invited to attend and cheer on our students throughout the day.

We look forward to a fantastic day of participation, encouragement and achievement!
