Important Notice for Parents
Mobile Phone Use
The Kiss and Drop zone at school drop off and pick up is a risky time for student safety. Driving with care ensures the safety of everyone in our community - and so when you are driving through the carpark, please ensure you are not using your mobile phone.
Thank you.
Endeavour College Enrolment
Dear Connected Schools Families,
We would like to provide a brief update regarding enrolment pathways at Endeavour College.
For families who have not yet submitted an application for Year 7, 2028, we are still very happy to receive your application. Please note, however, that the priority enrolment period for Connected Schools families has now concluded for this intake, and applications received from this point onward will be considered in accordance with our enrolment policy and placed on our waitlist.
For families currently in Year 4 who are considering a Year 7 entry to Endeavour College, the priority enrolment period remains open and will close at the end of this term on 1 June 2026.
Applications can be submitted via the following link: Endeavour College Applications
In light of the Junior School expansion at Endeavour College, is the Connected Schools community still a key part of Endeavour College?
Yes. Our Connected Schools community remains a highly valued and integral part of Endeavour College. These relationships have been fostered over many years and reflect a shared commitment to Lutheran education, belonging, and the holistic development of each child. We are grateful for the role these schools play in preparing students for their journey into secondary education here at Endeavour.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Endeavour College Enrolments Team at enrolments@endeavour.sa.edu.au.
Kind Regards, Enrolments Team
Worship Times
Each term, we have traditionally begun the first day of term with Worship at 9:00am. While this has been a special and meaningful way to open the term, it has increasingly placed pressure on students and staff to arrive, settle, and be fully prepared for the day by 9:00am. This rushed start is not the most reflective or welcoming way for us to gather as a school community for Worship.
From Term 3, we will continue to prioritise beginning the term with Worship, but this will now take place at the end of the first day, commencing at 2:20pm. This adjustment allows for a calmer, more settled return to school, giving everyone time to reconnect before coming together in Worship.
Our final day of term, Worship will continue to be held on Friday morning at 9:00am. This timing supports a meaningful close to the term and provides teachers with the opportunity to spend the remainder of the day finishing well and saying goodbye to their students.
Ready to take part in ICAS 2026?
ICAS is a nationally recognised academic competition that encourages students to apply what they know in new ways, think independently, and push a little further than they might in the classroom. That’s where real growth happens.
If your child is interested in taking part, please read the information attached and speak with your child's teacher to find out how they can get involved.
Expressions of Interest – Good Shepherd Sport Teams Season 2 of 2026
Dear families
We are now taking expression of interest from students interested in playing sport for a Good Shepherd team in the second season of 2026. Please note that the government sports vouchers are not eligible for Basketball and Netball. Expressions of interest are due by Friday 19th June and do not automatically guarantee a spot on a team. Families will be notified at the end of Term 2 of teams for the new season. If you are a current basketball or netball family, please note you will need to complete a new registration to have your child continue next season, if you have not yet already done so.
Please click on the relevant link below for more information regarding each sport and to register your child's interest.
(Please note interest for Soccer Season 2 will be advertised in the coming weeks. Cricket registrations will open mid-term 3 for a term 4 competition)
For any enquiries regarding sport at Good Shepherd please contact us at sports@gspv.sa.edu.au
Scholastic Book Club
Issue 4 Scholastic Book Club catalogues have been sent home this week.
Scholastic apps are available to download for both Apple and Android devices to make ordering through the Loop system easier.
There is the option to mark your purchases as GIFTS. When these books arrive, you will be contacted directly, rather than books going home with students.
Please also note that some titles offered, differ from the Christian ethos followed by the school.
Cash orders are not accepted by the school, so please place all orders via LOOP by Thursday 4th June 2026.
Happy Reading Everyone!
