ACS Primary Cricket Trials

This Friday we have 4 students travelling to Moree for the ACS Cricket Trials. We wish Hunter, Harrison, Jackson and Lockie all the very best competing against the best cricketers in our Dio.

Secondary Cricket Gala Day

In Week 3 we have our secondary cricket team travelling to Gunnedah to compete in the ACS Cricket Gala Day. Our First XI will compete in 2 matches on the day, and we wish them all the very best.

ACS Touch Gala Day

On Friday of Week 3, Holy Trinity will be competing in the ACS Primary Touch Football Gala Day in Tamworth. There will be a number of teams competing in the 3/4 junior division, as well as the 5/6 Senior division. 

All students who completed the Compass Event will be allocated a team for the day, while students wishing to trial for the competitive teams will do so this week. Further info, draws, and team list will be distributed to families when they become available.

We thank all families for their support and a big thank you to those who have offered to assist with a team.

Aquathlon and Triathlon Opportunities

The CSNSW Sport team are pleased to advise that entries are now open for two exciting multisport opportunities in 2026:

• NSW All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon Championship (Years 6-12) held on 4-5 November 2026 at Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith.
  • Year 6 students are eligible to enter the individual events and be considered for selection in the 2027 NSW All Schools Team.
• CSNSW Sport Primary School Aquathlon (Years 2-5, with Year 6 students also welcome) to be held on Tuesday 17 November 2026 at Des Renford Leisure Centre and Heffron Park, Maroubra.

Which Event Should I Enter?

Primary School Students (Years 2-5)

Students in Years 2-5 are encouraged to enter the CSNSW Sport Primary School Aquathlon.

This event is specifically designed as an introductory multisport experience, combining swimming and running in a fun, supportive environment. It is ideal for students wanting to experience multisport competition for the first time.

Year 6 Students

Year 6 students have the unique opportunity to choose the event that best matches their experience, confidence, and goals.

CSNSW Sport Primary School Aquathlon

• Ideal for students who would like to experience multisport competition in an introductory setting.
• A great first step into triathlon and aquathlon participation as students will participate in a 150m swim in a swimming pool and a 1.8km run.

NSW All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon Championship

• Suitable for students looking for a challenge, with the event featuring longer distances (300m swim and 2km), with the swim held in open water, and competition against students from across New South Wales.
• Provides a pathway to gain selection in the 2027 NSW All Schools Triathlon and Aquathlon Teams, which will compete at the School Sport Australia Triathlon Championships.

Secondary School Students (Years 7-12)

Secondary students should enter the NSW All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon Championship.

The championship includes:

• Individual triathlon and aquathlon events.
• Team triathlon events
• Opportunities for selection in the NSW All Schools representative team.
