Welcome to Term 4! This final term is always a dynamic mix of focused learning, assessment, and end-of-year celebrations.
A special welcome to our Year 12 cohort, starting their final year of school this term. Having Year 12 on campus for the first time is an exciting milestone for Holy Trinity, and we look forward to supporting them on the journey ahead.
Student leadership selection is also underway this week as students cast their votes for our Student Representatives.
Our core priority this term is assessing student growth across the year to ensure every child finishes strong. Alongside learning, we have many special community events ahead:
We sent home the Term 4 calendar late last week. Please keep this handy and refer to our weekly communication What's On At HTS for updates and more details. Please contact the school if you did not receive the calendar.
Thank you for your feedback in our annual school survey. We received the results last week and will review them over the coming weeks to shape our 2027 Annual Improvement Plan. There was lots to celebrate and a number of things for us to improve on.
Class and staff planning is now underway. To help us confirm enrolments, please inform me or my secretary, Cathy Dyer, if your family is moving away from HTS for 2027:
Thank you to all our families who bought tickets in our P and F Mega Raffle and those who attended the Race Day on Saturday. Thanks to our hard working P and F who made this all happen along with the Inverell Jockey Club. All money raised after we pay for the prizes goes into purchasing items that make our student's experiences at school better.
Congratulations to our winners:
1st Prize Tita Leach (ticket sold by Kahlan Hottes Kindergarten)
2nd Prize Elsie Guest (Year 5)
3rd Prize Headset (ticket sold by Blair Dries Year 2)
4th Prize Taina Summers (ticket sold by Teddy Bartlett Year 4)
For families on the regular payment plan, the October instalment is due tomorrow. The final instalment will be due on 21 November. Please check your account to ensure payments are complete before year's end.
We recognise that household budgets are tight at the moment—please contact me directly if you need to discuss your fee options.
By restricting our newsletter to families rather than the public, we can safely share student photos. We know past editions currently disappear quickly on Compass, and we are working on a secure archive location so you can easily access previous issues.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and I look forward to seeing you at our Term 4 events.
