Enrichment Program

BEEP: Brilliance, Excellence & Enrichment Program is designed and run by Learning Specialists Lauren Clark and Jayden Jukes. See below for updates:

Enrichment: Lauren has been blown away by the growth shown in both the Year 2 and 4 Enrichment groups. Can you believe our Year 2 students are able to use the vertical algorithm to solve multiplication problems that require renaming?! Our Year 4 students have been confidently multiplying decimals numbers to hundredths and thousandths (and some even further!). It has been a pleasure to work with these groups in Term 3 and we look forward to working with our new Enrichment groups in Term 4.

Excellence: Students have explored themes such as sacrifice and persuasion, analysing texts and advertisements before creating and justifying their own ideas. In Numeracy, students have investigated arrays, factors, variables and algebraic patterns, tackling open-ended problems and explaining their reasoning. Across the program, students are encouraged to embrace challenge, think deeply, collaborate and develop confidence as independent learners.

The Brilliance, Excellence & Enrichment Program reflects Wollert Primary School’s commitment to providing learning opportunities that support students to reach their goals. We are thrilled to launch this exciting new initiative and look forward to seeing our students embrace challenges and truly Be Brilliant in their mathematical learning.
