As we can see, we have had a big term of learning, during which we have worked hard to build connections and emphasise learning in all our curriculum areas while living by our motto: Inspirations Without Limitations.
We celebrated our inaugural Italian Day. A huge thank you to all the staff who made it a massive success with the soccer clinic, magical show, biscuit making- crostoli biscuits one of my favourites, pizza, and gelato. Special thanks to Signoria Clara and Danielle for leading the day and creating a fabulous environment where all students learned more about Italian culture and language. Well done on a successful day and program for our community!

Thank you to everyone for supporting R U Okay Day last Thursday by wearing a splash of yellow. I also want to acknowledge Sam Camilleri's work on the day and for encouraging the students to make pledges to care for one another as a community. All the pledges were displayed on the windows of our staff room, and I loved reading them!

Thank you to the families who supported our Men of Wollert BBQ; it was a lovely morning. The staff contributed greatly to ensuring families had a wonderful time sharing breakfast with their loved ones. A special thanks to all the staff who helped with food preparation and BBQ, as well as those who assisted with serving and cooking. It was brilliant to see our families connecting within our school grounds!
I also want to express gratitude to all the staff and families who supported our Father's Day stall. As parents, we genuinely appreciate those special gifts. A big thank you to Jacinta and the Parent and Friends Association for their hard work in organising the stalls, as well as to Rav, Paula, Linda, and Lisa for their assistance. We also appreciate the support from the following families-
Father's Day Stall Helpers:
- Kelly & Trent (Parents of Blake)
- Charmaine (Parent of Lucas)
- Penny (Parents of Katrina & Apollo)
- Emma (Parent of Jordan)
- Dimi (Parent of Anthea & Eleanor)
- Anita (Parent of Zaylan)
- Taghrid (Parent of Jana)
- Michelle (Parent of Violet) – also assisted with the Men of Wollert pre-setup
- Salwa (Parent of Mohammad, Abdurrazzaq & Abdullah)
Father's Day Raffle Helpers:
- Charmaine (Parent of Lucas)
- Penny (Parents of Katrina & Apollo)
- Dimi (Parent of Anthea & Eleanor)
In the final week, we welcomed families into our learning spaces and classrooms. Thank you to all the families who visited, celebrated their child's work, or participated in literacy or numeracy activities. It was great to see the connections we are forming and to spotlight learning at Wollert PS. We also had families visit our Market Day, where our Year 6 students did a fabulous job. This event is becoming a cherished tradition at our school and continues to grow each year.

Thank you for participating in the Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey, which concludes tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2026.
We value your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement and professional development needs, allowing us to focus our planning strategies effectively. The survey is conducted online and takes only 20 minutes to complete. Thank you once again.
Foundation Enrolments: Parents can access the school enrolment form by visiting the school office during opening hours or by calling the main office for more information regarding Foundation enrolments for 2027. It is crucial that you visit the office as soon as possible and complete the necessary documentation.
2027 Student Exits: If your child is currently in Foundation (Prep) to Year 5 and will not be attending Wollert Primary School in 2027, please notify us in writing via email at wollert.ps@education.vic.gov.au as soon as possible. We require this information promptly to establish grade structures for the beginning of the new school year.
Thank you for your continued support, everyone! Please take a break over the holidays. To our students, enjoy the break by getting outdoors and appreciating the weather. Don't forget to continue reading and practicing your math skills while shopping with your families. To our staff, take some time off and prepare for Term 4, as we continue to work as a team to uphold high expectations for all. Term 4 is going to be fantastic!

Stay well,
