LMR Athletics
Our students enjoyed a great day at the LMR Athletics Championships in Bendigo yesterday, Thursday 17th September, with perfect weather and some excellent results. Every student gave their best effort. Iwas especially good to see them watching each other’s events and supporting one another throughout the day.

- Sophie R. – 3rd, 12–13 Years Girls 1500m
- Toby B. – 2nd, 12–13 Years Boys Long Jump; 6th, Discus
- Rosie F. – 2nd, 14 Years Girls Javelin
- Isaac R. – 7th, 14 Years Boys 1500m
- Erin B. – 6th, 15 Years Girls Discus
- Murphy F. – 1st, 16 Years Boys Javelin
- Heidi S. – 1st, 17 Years Girls Long Jump, Triple Jump, Discus and Javelin; 2nd, 400m
Murphy and Heidi will now compete at the State Championships on October 15th. We wish them both the best of luck.
Year 7–9 SEPEP Basketball Competition
Our Year 7–9 Sport basketball SEPEP competition has wrapped up after a great season of games. Students took on roles including umpiring, scoring and team management, with the Year 9 students helping to organise and run the competition. Everyone did a fantastic job both on and off the court.
Congratulations to Blue, our winning team: Cooper McG., Sophie R., Sam C., Charlotte S., Marlly M. and Matthew E.
Students also voted for the Best and Fairest award, recognising sportsmanship, teamwork and contribution throughout the season. Congratulations to Hudson McG. on winning the award, with Sam C. finishing second and Josh B. third.
