Bunnings Visit

On Friday 11th of September 2026, we were delighted to welcome two wonderful volunteers from Bunnings Notting Hill to our Gardening Club. We are incredibly grateful to Bunnings for generously donating a variety of native shrubs, flower seedlings and vegetable plants for our school garden sanctuary.
The students had a wonderful time getting their hands dirty and planting our new additions. To promote biodiversity and support native wildlife within our school grounds, we planted a selection of native species, including Lemon Drops, Boronias, Billy Buttons and Kangaroo Paws.
We are also excited to try our hand at growing some delicious edible plants, including carrots, cucumbers and green beans. In our flower beds, we added violas and snapdragons, bringing beautiful pops of colour to our sanctuary for everyone to enjoy.
Our Green Team is very excited to watch our plants grow, flourish and transform our sanctuary into an even more vibrant and welcoming space for our school community.
A huge thank you to Bunnings Notting Hill and their wonderful volunteers for helping us grow our garden and our students' love of gardening!
